Maxximus “Maxxi” Vikingasköld

My name is Maxximus Vikingasköld, and motorcycles have been a huge part of my life since I was four years old. I started with motocross before moving into road racing, where I quickly found my passion.

I have competed in different classes and worked hard to develop as a rider. One of the biggest experiences in my career was racing in the Junior World Championship in Moto2 with MDR. It was a great opportunity to compete against some of the best young riders in the world and learn a lot.

I am also a test rider for Michelin and have had the opportunity to test tyres in Spain. Working with Michelin has taught me a lot about tyres, bike setup and how to give useful feedback to engineers.

MDR has now asked me about a possible ride for the 2027 season, which is very exciting for me. My goal is to keep improving, gain more international experience and eventually reach the highest level of motorcycle racing.

I know I still have a lot to learn, but I am ready to work hard and give everything I have to reach my goals.

This is only the beginning.

Racing Experience

Maxximus has several years of experience in road racing, with over 50 starts in the Swedish Championship. He has also gained experience from international racing environments, including ESBK in Spain and the Norwegian Championship.

In 2021, he was signed by Yamaha Team Scandinavia as the youngest rider ever and has since represented Yamaha bLUcRU at Magny-Cours in France.

Before transitioning to road racing, he spent eight years in motocross with over 5,000 hours of training and more than 220 race starts. His background in motocross has contributed to strong bike control, race awareness and adaptability, which are key strengths in his road racing development today.
